John is a commercial and corporate partner at McKercher LLP's Saskatoon office, specializing in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and natural resources. He advises clients in various industries, including mineral exploration, mining, oil & gas, gaming, transportation, waste disposal, and agribusiness. His clients range from private businesses to publicly traded companies. John has acted as counsel in over ten initial public offerings and has experience with rights offerings, acquisitions, reverse takeovers, stock exchange listings, regulatory compliance, and private placements. He has also worked on the purchase and sale of mineral dispositions and oil & gas properties, option agreements, joint ventures, royalty agreements, mineral and oil & gas leases, title opinions, and timber supply licenses. He was called to the bar in 2001.
