John-Paul Alexandrowicz is an experienced labour and employment lawyer. His practice involves strategic advice and oral and written advocacy in a variety of forums including arbitration, labour boards, human rights tribunals and the courts. John-Paul acts for employers in wrongful dismissal actions, judicial reviews, appeals and constitutional proceedings. He provides strategic and practical advice to public and private sector employers on a broad array of labour, employment and human rights issues. John-Paul represents employers in certification, related employer and sale of business, unfair labour practice and construction industry proceedings. John-Paul is the co-Chair of the firm’s School Boards Practice Group and has significant experience representing public and Catholic school boards in collective agreement negotiations, labour arbitrations, human rights proceedings and education law matters, such as student expulsions.
