Jonathan Meadows is Harper Grey’s managing partner, co-chair of the firm’s Construction and Engineering Law Group and member of the firm’s Health Law, Insurance Law and Professional Regulation Practice Groups. His practice is focused on advising physicians in professional liability and disciplinary matters, working on behalf of insurers and insureds on complex coverage disputes, and on liability defence. Jonathan has been recognized as a leading lawyer in the areas of insurance law, health care law, medical negligence, and professional liability by Benchmark Canada and The Best Lawyers in Canada. He is a contributor to the Contemporary Canadian Insurance Law Casebook, 2015, and to Administrative Justice – A Practitioner’s Guide published by LexisNexis Canada. He has also been a guest lecturer with the University of British Columbia Faculty of Law. He is a member of many legal organizations including the Canadian Defence Lawyers, Defence Research Institute, Risk and Insurance Managers Society, and the Medical Legal Society of BC. He is the past president of the Board of Directors of the Lookout Emergency Aid Society, a provider of housing services to the homeless in the Lower Mainland. He was called to the BC Bar in 1997 and the Yukon Bar in 2007.
