Jordan Winch practises all aspects of employment and labour law in both the provincial and federal jurisdictions. Winch’s practice focuses on employment litigation and he has appeared as counsel in all levels of court in Ontario, as well as before the Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal. He regularly attends mediations, arbitrations, and other litigation-related matters on behalf of clients. Winch has a particular wealth of knowledge and experience in dealing with employment issues for employers in the financial services and capital markets industries, such that he has a high degree of familiarity with bonus plans, compensation structures, and general employment practices in those industries. In addition, Winch regularly advises employers on employment standards, wrongful dismissal, discipline, and discharge, as well as human rights, workplace safety and insurance, and occupational health and safety issues. Winch also regularly advises employers on developing and implementing proactive and strategic initiatives to create a productive and efficient workplace.
