Jordana co-leads the firm's Intellectual Property group. With over 20 years of experience in patent, trademark, and copyright disputes, she is a formidable advocate, recognized on a national and global level for her deep expertise in all areas of intellectual property law, and particularly in patent and trademark disputes. A trusted advisor to her clients, she provides practical and strategic advice to obtain successful results in and out of the courtroom. Jordana regularly acts in proceedings under the PM(NOC) Regulations, patent impeachment and infringement actions, judicial review proceedings, and damages actions. She has appeared as counsel in matters before the Federal Court of Appeal, Federal Court, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and specialized tribunals. Jordana is also a registered patent and trademark agent. She represents the National IP Bar as Chair of the CBA’s Federal Courts Bench & Bar Liaison Committee and is a member and past Chair of the CBA’s Court Practice Committee. Jordana is past Director of IPIC and past Chair of its Annual Conference Committee. She is a frequent speaker on a wide variety of substantive and practice issues. She currently volunteers her time with a variety of organizations within the IP community and community at large.
