Josh Almario

Josh Almario is a partner in Gowling WLG's Toronto office, where he practises in the areas of securities and corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, complex reorganizations, and general commercial matters. He regularly acts for both issuers and dealers in equity and debt public offerings, private placements, and strategic investments. He also routinely acts for targets and acquirers in both public and private M&A transactions and has represented Canadian, US, and international clients in a broad range of industries, including technology, life sciences, cannabis, energy, retail, and private equity. Clients turn to him for assistance with corporate governance matters, directors' duties and liabilities, insider trading policies, related-party transactions, and disclosure obligations of public companies.
