Judy Rost is a Partner and leader of the Business Disputes and Franchise Practices at Alexander Holburn. She practises in the area of civil litigation with an emphasis on business disputes, franchise disputes, and estate matters. Judy acts for plaintiffs and defendants in all types of commercial and franchise disputes. She is highly regarded and is knowledgeable in many commercial areas, including contract disputes, commercial leases, debt collection, franchise disputes, insolvency matters, intellectual property disputes, real estate disputes, securities disputes, shareholders and partnership disputes, and complex trust and estate matters. She has authored a chapter in the ABA text Covenants against Competition in Franchise Agreements, 3rd ed. and the Fundamentals of Franchising – Canada, and frequently presents on litigation topics.
