Julie Parla is the co-chair of McCarthy Tétrault LLP’s National Infrastructure Group, the head of the firm’s Project Disputes team, and a partner in the Litigation Group in Toronto. She specializes in infrastructure litigation including major construction, power projects, P3s, and procurement disputes. Julie’s clients include both public and private sector companies such as AFP authorities and Crown agencies, municipalities, educational institutions, healthcare entities, and owners in land development, energy and other private-sector industries. As a believer in educating the next generation of lawyers, Julie has been a repeat guest lecturer for George Brown College’s Construction Law Course and Western University Law School’s contracts course. She oversees the management of litigation associates as a member of McCarthy Tétrault LLP’s Professional Resources Committee and is a proud member of the National Inclusion Committee and Toronto lead of the Gender Equity Action Group.
