Julie Lanteigne is a partner in Gowling WLG's Montreal office, practising in the Real Estate Group. Over the last 15 years, she has developed significant experience in various areas of commercial real estate, including leasing, sales and acquisitions and commercial matters pertaining to property management. Julie acts on behalf of developers, pension funds, insurance and financial institutions, asset managers, large retailers and industrials. She regularly drafts and negotiates complex commercial leases and is often sought by owners to create or upgrade their standard leasing documentation in various asset types, including mixed-use properties, industrial properties, office buildings, hotels and multi-residential assets. She also advises property owners and managers on contractual matters related to property administration and operation. After beginning her legal career in commercial litigation, Julie completed an MBA and joined the legal department of one of Canada's largest real estate owners. She then entered private practice, leveraging her business acumen to assist clients. She practises law in English and French and is fluent in Spanish. She has been recognized in The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and The Best Lawyers in Canada.
