Extensive experience in complex commercial disputes, competition law, regulatory/administrative law proceedings, procurement law, white collar crime, internal investigations, as well as domestic and international arbitrations. Select recent litigation work includes acting for: Browning West LP in multiple pieces of litigation related to its proxy campaign against Gildan Activewear Inc.; Newmont in an oppression action brought in the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia by International Royalty Corporation; Kosmayer Investment Inc. in its claim against Rumble; and Infrastructure Ontario and His Majesty the King in Right of Ontario in defence of a $140 million claim relating to increased costs on a highway infrastructure project. Has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Federal Court and all levels of court in Ontario.
