Significant experience with corporate and financing transactions involving health care assets and is a member of the firm’s Aging & Healthcare practice. Recent experience includes representing: WestJet in its issuance of a new US$1.5 billion Secured Term Loan B; Ad hoc committee of lenders in the $1.2 billion financing of its acquisition of Cirque du Soleil pursuant to a credit bid under the CCAA; Welltower Inc. and Revera Inc. in the national platform transition, joint venture wind-down and establishment of new national management platforms; various health care organizations in the restructuring, origination and assignment of various Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation backed secured financing structures; among others.
