Kathryn lives and works in the unceded territory of the Lekwungen People. She works with Indigenous groups, communities and entities and organizations on matters related to governance. Kathryn’s practice is focused primarily on the negotiation and implementation of self-governance agreements and arrangements. She also enjoys facilitating workshops and training sessions on matters related to governance, and working with Indigenous groups on developing their Constitutions and laws. Kathryn is a practising member of the Law Societies of British Columbia and Nunavut and a non-practising member of the Law Society of the Northwest Territories. Kathryn holds an LLM in Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall, and previously served as a member of the Tsawwassen First Nation Judicial Council. Kathryn has been recognized in The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory every year since 2017 and in The Best Lawyers in Canada every year since 2019 as among Canada’s top practitioners in Aboriginal Law. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, hiking, cycling, traveling, and spending time with her family and dogs.
