Konata T. Lake

Konata Lake's practice focuses on corporate law, with an emphasis on investments and mergers & acquisitions (private and public). He advises strategic and financial parties on all aspects of investing and divestiture transactions, including shareholder arrangements, joint ventures, leveraged buyouts, majority and minority equity investments, co-investments, and take private transactions. He advised financial institutions, governments, and Canadian pension funds on complex strategic commercial arrangements and transactions. He spent over two years practising in New York City both in the firm’s New York office and at a large international law firm. He joined the New York bar in 2009 and the Ontario bar in 2009. He obtained his JD in 2008 from Osgoode Hall Law School, his MBA (with distinction) in 2008 from the Schulich School of Business at York University, and his BBA (with distinction) in 2003 from the Schulich School of Business in York University.
