Larry is the Chair of Blaney McMurtry’s Insurance Practice Group. His practice concentrates in areas of challenging property, casualty, and commercial litigation, with particular expertise in sports law, product liability, construction claims, and sensitive matters, including sexual abuse and harassment, involving public and private associations. Larry has successfully tried a significant range of cases including those relating to personal injury, product liability, occupiers' liability, real estate, governmental liability, police conduct, breach of contract, civil conspiracy, and the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. He further regularly handles claims relating to environmental contamination, industrial accidents, fire loss, and E&O. He is also the contact partner for the Risk Management Counsel of Canada (RMC) and Insurance Law Global (ILG). BA, University of Winnipeg; JD, University of Toronto.
