Larry Sandrin's practice focuses on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, development, and leasing, with an emphasis on major governmental approval processes in comprehensive development, industrial, and infrastructure projects. Larry's work involving governmental approvals has included official community and development plans, complex multi-function re-zonings, subdivisions, development and building permit processes, and agricultural land reserve determinations and releases. He has completed many significant commercial transactions involving a wide variety of real estate portfolios and investment properties for local, national, and offshore investors and public bodies, including significant joint-venture projects and transactions with Canadian First Nations. He has advised and assisted in many infrastructure projects, including RFPs, P3s, and long-term leases, relating to major community amenities, transportation, civil works, healthcare, utilities, and education projects. Larry is a past director of the BC Branch of the Canadian Diabetes Association and a past governor and vice-Chair of the Collingwood School Society in West Vancouver.
On September 28, 2015, the Two Rivers Lodging Group was awarded an eight-year, approximately $470-million contract with BC Hydro to design, build, partially finance, maintain and operate a worker accommodation complex in conjunction with BC Hydro’s Site C Clean Energy Project.
