Lawrence Witt is an experienced labour, employment, and human rights law practitioner. He regularly acts on behalf of clients in labour and employment litigation matters before administrative tribunals, arbitration tribunals, as well as first instance and appellate level courts. He has developed considerable experience in electronic discovery and data preservation, the drafting and pleading of injunction applications seeking the enforcement of restrictive covenants, return of information, and the preservation of evidence. He is frequently called upon to lecture to various audiences, including continuing legal education seminars, on topics focused on hiring and workplace issues such as workplace privacy, the use of social media, workplace harassment, workplace investigations, and attendance management. He is actively involved in various community organizations including the boards and executive committees of a private school, a museum, and other not-for-profit organizations in Montreal. In addition, Witt acts as a consultant to the Legal Information Clinic at McGill in matters relating to labour, employment, and human rights law.
