Leslie is a partner at Koffman Kalef LLP. She advises clients as a member of the Lending/Insolvency and Commercial Real Estate & Development teams. She is regularly recognized for her expertise, and frequently contributes to a number of publications related to her areas of practice. Leslie enjoys helping her clients navigate complex issues, and endeavours to find practical solutions to get the deal done. Leslie works with lenders, real estate investors and developers, landlords, and tenants. She has particular experience advising on a variety of financing transactions, including the preparation and negotiation of credit agreements, facility letters, loan agreements, and security documents for construction loans, term loans, operating facilities, and equipment leasing transactions for local and cross-border transactions. Leslie also advises on real estate transactions, including: real estate acquisitions and dispositions, including structuring forms of ownership; leasing; financing; land assemblies, subdivisions, and developments (office, retail, hotel, residential). Leslie was called to the BC Bar in 1993.
The current owners of Canada's largest off-airport and only national car park company, Park'N Fly, completed the sale of their parking business assets, including all real estate used in connection with the business located in Montreal; Ottawa; Toronto; Edmonton and Vancouver, along with goodwill and other operating assets, to a joint venture led by Cheung Kong Infrastructure Holdings Limited and Cheung Kong (Holdings) Limited, both companies whose shares are traded on the stock exchange of Hong Kong, each owning a 50 per cent interest.
