Linda Hogg is a partner and leader of the Corporate Finance, M&A, Private Equity and General Corporate Counsel Practice Groups in Gowling WLG’s Vancouver office. She practises corporate and securities law concentrating on corporate finance for public and private companies, M&A and mining. Linda represents domestic and foreign companies with interests in mining, alternate energy, local industries and European, Asian, North and South American business investments. Her practice involves: mineral property options; joint ventures, option/earn-ins, royalties; public and private equity and debt financings; corporate reorganizations and acquisitions; corporate governance; corporate and securities regulatory compliance; shareholder meetings; dissident proxy solicitations and stock exchange listings. In conjunction with the TSX Venture Exchange and the BC Securities Commission, Linda teaches a course at Simon Fraser University on financing, governance and compliance for public companies. She is also an instructor for the TSX Venture Exchange Rules and Tools course. Linda served on the TSX Venture Exchange Advisory Committee and as Chair of the Securities Subsection of the BC Branch of the CBA.
