Lisa is a partner of Lerners LLP and a roster arbitrator with Arbitration Place. She acts as an arbitrator in domestic and international commercial arbitrations (both ad hoc and under institutional rules), to which she brings more than 25 years of experience as counsel in commercial/business litigation and commercial arbitration and 12 years as a member of the Lerners LLP Executive Committee, including as Toronto Managing Partner. She is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and has obtained ADRIC’s Qualified Arbitrator (QArb) designation. Lisa is one of four instructors of the TCAS Gold Standard Course in Domestic and International Commercial Arbitration. She is a member of the board of directors of ADRIC and CIArb. Lisa is the editor of and a writer for Arbitration Matters (www.arbitrationmatters.com). It features over 800 summaries of key decisions, with commentary, on commercial arbitration issues as they are released by courts across the country. She is also the host of Arbitration Boot Camp, a monthly, live, one-hour webinar series in which she discusses and takes questions about arbitration issues viewed from a practical perspective.
