Louis-Pierre Grégoire is a partner in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office. Certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a Specialist in Construction Law, Louis-Pierre also holds a civil engineering degree. His practice is focused on construction law and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on construction and infrastructure matters, commercial disputes, condominium law, insurance, product liability and professional responsibility. He has provided strategic advice as well as litigation counsel to many stakeholders in the construction and infrastructure industries, including financial institutions, owners, contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, entrepreneurs, consultants (engineers and architects), manufacturers, building officials and home inspectors. An active member of trade and industry associations, Louis-Pierre is a founding member of the Ottawa Young Construction Leaders and a co-author of the publication A Layperson’s Guide to the Construction Act presently in its second edition. He has been repeatedly recognized in both The Best Lawyers in Canada and The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as a leading practitioner in Construction Law and received the Best Lawyers 2023 Construction "Lawyer of the Year" award in Ottawa.
