Maia is a partner at Cuming & Gillespie Lawyers. Her practice focuses on medical malpractice, personal injury and professional negligence actions. In all areas, she acts exclusively for injured parties and their families. Maia has appeared before various levels of court in Alberta and Saskatchewan. The responsibility of representing individuals who have been injured due to someone else's negligence is not taken lightly by Maia. As a member of the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association and through her practice, she is extremely involved in protecting Albertans' rights. Maia currently is a Board of Director for the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association and Cerebral Palsy Alberta. Maia's hobbies outside work include travelling, exercising whenever she can, and keeping up with her two children and her husband.
