Martin maintains a diverse disputes and corporate-commercial practice and has built a broad client base in a wide range of industries. Martin acts as client relationship lawyer and counsel for leading international companies in industries that include capital markets (private equity funds and special purpose acquisition companies), entertainment and media, insurance, transportation, auto, agriculture, construction, emerging technology, and international supply chain logistics. He provides clients with strategic advice relating to dispute resolution, crisis management, Canadian market entry and investments, international transactions, and compliance. Martin is also the National Leader of the Latin America focus group and routinely assists companies with international commercial arbitration matters and cross-border transactions, including specifically multijurisdictional SPAC transactions. His international upbringing enables him to communicate in several languages, including Spanish, German, Portuguese and French, in further support of the international reach of his practice.
