Michael Swartz is a partner at WeirFoulds who has devoted his entire practice exclusively to the area of construction law. He represents clients from across the construction industry including owners, developers, architects, contractors, trades, and suppliers, in all aspects of their projects and construction-related issues. He is experienced in structuring complex tendering and contract documents related to development. His practice involves dealing with a wide range of litigation issues that arise from procurement and contract disputes, as well as breach of contract, lien, trust, bond, and delay claims. He also dedicates a significant amount of time to speaking and writing articles on topics related to construction law and the construction industry and has been proudly teaching construction law courses since 2006 for George Brown College, the Ontario Contractors Association, the Ontario Association of Architects, and the Toronto Construction Association. He has been the recipient of awards recognizing his time spent giving back to the industry.
