Prior to attending law school, he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Finance) with distinction from the Haskayne School of Business. On May 1, 2015, Whitecap Resources Inc. (Whitecap) completed the acquisition of Beaumont Energy Inc. (Beaumont) pursuant to a plan of arrangement for approximately $587.5 million.
On April 16, 2015 Kelt Exploration Ltd. (Kelt) completed the acquisition of Artek Exploration Ltd. (Artek) for approximately $320 million in accordance with a previously announced Plan of Arrangement (the Arrangement). Pursuant to the Arrangement, Artek became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kelt and Artek’s name was changed to Kelt Exploration (LNG) Ltd.
