Misty is a partner with Robertson Stromberg LLP, where her practice focuses primarily on construction law and commercial debt recovery. She advises and represents suppliers, contractors, subcontractors, owners, and consultants on all aspects of a construction project, including competitive bidding and procurement issues, contract drafting/interpretation/enforcement, builders’ liens, debt recovery, and dispute resolution/arbitration. A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, Misty received her bachelor of arts honours degree in 2003 and a JD degree in 2006. She was called to the Saskatchewan bar in 2007. Misty stays current in her profession as chairwoman of the construction law section of the Saskatchewan chapter of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) and a member of the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association (STLA). She has been a panel presenter for the CBA mid-winter meeting and has presented for the CBA and STLA on builders’ liens and debt recovery issues. Misty is a member of the executive committee for Construction Specifications Canada (Legal Officer – Saskatoon Chapter) and has completed and then instructed at their principles of construction documentation course.
