Myron Dzulynsky is a partner in Gowling WLG’s Toronto office. Currently, co-leader of the firm’s global Hydrogen Group and a member of the Energy and Infrastructure Groups, Myron is the former co-head of the Toronto Business Law Department, as well as the former head of the national Investment Funds and Private Equity Group. Myron is a transaction lawyer with broad sectoral experience, with a particular focus on energy and infrastructure projects, M&A and financing in Canada and other parts of the world. His experience includes acting for various stakeholders, including institutional investors, lenders, developers and Indigenous communities. Myron is particularly respected for his ability to execute on complex, often one-of-a-kind transactions. In 2017, he was the recipient of a Client Choice Award presented by the International Law Office in partnership with Lexology. Myron has been recognized in The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory since 2012 and continues to be named a Thomson Reuters Stand-out Lawyer.
On December 3, 2015, Bruce Power L.P. (Bruce Power) and the Independent Electricity System Operator (the IESO) entered into the Amended and Restated Bruce Power Refurbishment Implementation Agreement (the ARBPRIA) to extend the operating life of the Bruce Power facility to 2064.
Tourmaline Oil Corp. completed the previously announced Peace River High sale to and joint venture with Canadian Non-Operated Resources I Ltd. (CNOR) for approximately $500 million. Tourmaline retains a 75 per cent interest and will continue to operate the joint venture assets.
