Myron Mallia-Dare is a private equity partner and co-leader of Miller Thomson’s high growth and emerging companies group. He focuses on private equity, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and venture financing. Myron advises both Canadian and international private equity sponsors, venture capital funds, strategic investors, and high-growth companies on transactions in technology, media, and telecommunications. His practice covers leveraged buyouts, fund investments, co-investments, distressed acquisitions, high-value exits, and cross-border M&A. He also guides emerging companies and venture capital funds on financing strategies from seed investments to IPOs. Myron has served on boards and advisory committees for various companies, including a multinational cybersecurity firm and is a member of the advisory board for various accelerators, such as OneEleven. Myron routinely speaks and writes on trends in private equity, venture capital, and ESG. He serves as an instructor for Osgoode’s certificate in ESG, climate risk, and the law and as an adjunct professor of corporate finance at the University of New Brunswick, and has co-authored chapters in publications such as “The Law of Artificial Intelligence and Smart Machines” and “Cloud 3.0.
