Nainesh obtained his LLB from the University of Ottawa and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1994 and in Alberta in 2022. He has appeared in trials at the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice and has conducted appeals at the Federal Court level, Trial division. He has been featured in televised, print and radio interviews regarding injury and Long Term Disability claims. His main practice is long-term disability litigation. He is active in the community and supports many charities. From 2015–2019 he brought a thousand troops, veterans, and cadets to a professional hockey game in a Remembrance Day event known as Kotak Law Military Appreciation Day. Nainesh is a member of the Sheridan College Paralegal Advisory Committee and is President of the Board of Directors of Every Mind Mental Health Services. He serves as the Chair of the Long-Term Disability Section of the Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association. He is also the Secretary/Treasurer of the OTLA Board. He chaired the working group to form a Diversity and Inclusion Caucus and was instrumental in its formation. He has organized and chaired webinars, roundtables, and luncheons to educate and lawyers with topics such as practising disability law.
