Neena Gupta is a partner in the Waterloo and Toronto offices of Gowling WLG. Neena has advised a broad range of employers, from start-ups to world-renowned multinationals, on all aspects of employment law, including policies, offer letters, wrongful dismissal, AODA, employment equity, cross-border employment, human rights and health & safety compliance in Canada. She is also a senior trial lawyer in both employment and commercial matters. Neena is a popular speaker at events hosted by Chambers of Commerce, human resource organizations, universities, trade and bar associations. She developed the employment law course at Seneca College and taught at both the University of Toronto and Queen’s University as an Adjunct Professor, Faculty of Law. Neena is chair of the United Way of Waterloo-Wellington Region and on the board of the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers (CACE). She previously served as a director of The Advocates’ Society and a governor of the Law Commission of Ontario. She has been recognized in both The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and The Best Lawyers in Canada.
