Neil Davie is a founding partner of Sampson Davie Fane Volpiana LLP. His practice involves all aspects of commercial real estate, including the acquisition, financing, leasing, development, and sale of residential, industrial, office, and retail properties for local, national, and offshore clients. He has extensive experience advising clients at all stages of the development process – from rezoning through to building occupancy. He has worked on a number of complex phased and mixed-use developments for some of Canada’s leading residential and commercial real estate developers. He also acts for both landlords and tenants in negotiating office, industrial, and retail leases. He is former chairman of the Vancouver real property section of the BC branch of the Canadian Bar Association and is a member of the editorial board for the British Columbia Real Estate Practice Manual. He is also a member of the planning committee for the annual ICSC + Canadian Law Conference in Toronto, and he chairs Pacific Business & Law Institute’s annual commercial leasing seminar in Vancouver. He has been recognized by Chambers Canada, The Legal 500 Canada, and The Best Lawyers in Canada for his real estate practice. He was called to the BC bar in 2002.
