Nicolas Sapp focuses on all areas of intellectual property (IP) law, particularly in patents, trademarks, copyrights, and industrial designs, for which he renders legal opinions. His practice also comprises litigation and alternative dispute resolution in IP matters, as well as drafting and negotiating commercial conventions, namely licences, assignments, and distribution agreements. He advises clients in the management of IP portfolios. He is managing partner of ROBIC’s Quebec office and the head of ROBIC’s business development committee. He was awarded a Bachelor of Civil Law (LLB) from Université Laval in 1990, a Bachelor of Common Law (LLB) from Université de Moncton in 1992, and was called to the Quebec bar in 1993. Since 2001, he has been mentioned in the intellectual property law category of The Best Lawyers in Canada.
