Pascale Cloutier is general counsel of Miller Thomson LLP. She is one of very few lawyers in Toronto who is fluent in French and English, called to both the Quebec and Ontario bars, practises in both provinces, and qualifies as a national practitioner by virtue of her in-depth knowledge of Canada’s two unique legal systems (Quebec civil law and common law). Before becoming the firm’s general counsel, she practised as a commercial and civil litigator for more than 20 years. She has been listed in the Who’s Who Legal Franchise Lawyers and Canada editions since 2011, and in Best Lawyers in Canada since 2013. A graduate of the University of Ottawa, she was called to the Quebec bar in 1995 and joined the Law Society of Ontario in 2012.
