Paul Pape co-founded Pape Chaudhury LLP with Shantona Chaudhury in 2018. Paul has over 45 years of experience as both trial and appellate counsel and has acted in many cases of significance. His litigation practice focuses on complex commercial, securities, class action, professional negligence, and administrative matters, with special emphasis on appeals in these and other areas. Paul has argued over 150 appeals and is a senior and leading member of the Ontario Bar. Paul is ranked among the best in Canada by leading legal-ranking publications including Chambers Canada, Benchmark Litigation, Lexpert, and Best Lawyers. Paul is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. He is an honorary member of the commercial bar of England (COMBAR). Paul received his LLB at Osgoode Hall Law School in 1969 and his LLM at King’s College, University of London, England in 1972. He was admitted to the bar in 1971.
