On the class actions and product liability fronts, he has considerable experience defending life science, industrial, and consumer goods companies in respect of product liability and recalls, in relation to drug products, industrial, and consumer goods. On the insurance front, he has considerable experience respecting insurance coverage; policy interpretation and drafting; claims handling; litigation and dispute resolution; professional liability insurance for accountants, lawyers, directors, and officers; general liability; property insurance; cyber liability; and contingency claims. He also provides insurance due diligence, opinions on the type and scope of policies maintained by companies. He regularly works with clients based in Canada, the US, and Europe on matters requiring the collaboration and coordination of counsel in different jurisdictions. He has extensive experience in multi-jurisdictional litigation involving product liability and insurance issues and highly complex insurance claims involving towers of carriers. Licensed in Quebec, Ontario, and Saskatchewan, his practice spans the country.
