Peter Milne is a lawyer, Patent Agent and Trademark Agent based in Gowling WLG’s Hamilton office. His practice extends principally into the patent and trademark prosecution areas and includes related matters such as industrial designs, copyright, trade secrets and confidential information, technology transfer and licensing and opinion work relating to these areas. He is a member of several of Gowling WLG's Industry/Technology Groups, including Energy and Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Automotive and Hydrogen. Peter is a Fellow of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) and former Chair of the Toronto Patent and Trademark Informals Group. He is also a member of several professional intellectual property organizations as well as a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario. He obtained his LLB from the University of British Columbia and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1988. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from McMaster University (Ceramic and Metallurgical Engineering) in 1979.
