Philip Lapin, one of Canada's leading trademark lawyers, is a Principal in Smart & Biggar's Ottawa office. With more than 25 years of experience, Philip manages trademark portfolios and provides strategic advice for many Canadian and multinational corporations. He has handled the clearance, prosecution and registration of thousands of trademarks, and has particular expertise in trademark opposition and cancelation proceedings before the Trademarks Office.
