Pierre Grenier is a partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group of Dentons’ Montreal office. His practice focuses on the construction, energy and commercial law sectors. Pierre represents owners and developers, general and specialized contractors in major infrastructure and construction projects, equipment manufacturers, financial institutions, industrial corporations and investors. More particularly, he assists and advises owners and contractors with dispute resolution with facilitative processes (negotiation and mediation), and before specialized panels (adjudication, arbitration) and judicial courts. Pierre has also developed particular expertise in the energy sector in Quebec and in all aspects of issues and risk management related to various and complex construction projects (from drafting to claims management), the preparation of contractual agreements and the exercise of rights and remedies under corporate laws, including claims against directors and officers and minority shareholder remedies. Pierre is also called upon to act as arbitrator in commercial matters and construction projects. With regards to energy and construction law, Pierre has been responsible for legal strategy in complex cases.
