Chair, New Brunswick Law Foundation (2003–2007, 2014–2018); Chair, Discipline Committee of the Law Society of New Brunswick (2001–2010); provincial editor, New Brunswick, Canadian Bar Review (1989–2004); instructor, NB Bar Admission Course (1984–2011); President, Law Society of New Brunswick (1992–1993); former lecturer, UNB Faculty of Law in tax, estate planning, commercial law; member, Board of Governors of the Canadian Tax Foundation (1994–1997). Member, Canadian Tax Foundation; Canadian Bar Association; Association des Juristes d’Expression Française du Nouveau-Brunswick; Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Educated at Laval, Queen’s and Oxford Universities. Admitted to Bars of Ontario (1978) and New Brunswick (1981). Appointed KC in 1996.
