Randy Schwartz is a partner in McCarthy Tétrault’s National Tax Group based in Toronto and head of the firm’s indirect tax practice. His practice is focused on indirect taxes, which include goods and services tax/harmonized sales tax, provincial sales taxes, property transfer taxes, fuel taxes, excise taxes and duties. Randy advises clients with respect to indirect tax planning, transaction advice and negotiation, entering the Canadian market, start-ups and tax dispute resolution.
