Ray Wagner, KC, is the founder of Wagners. With over 43 years' experience, his legal practice has a primary focus on class actions, mass tort litigation, medical negligence and product liability. He has represented plaintiffs harmed by pharmaceuticals and medical devices, survivors of institutional abuse, victims of instititutional sexual misconduct in the Canadian Armed Forces, businesses affected by a crane collapse in Halifax and passengers of Air Canada Flight 624 plane crash. He represents plaintiffs’ personal injury liability, including medical malpractice and hospital, with focus on birth trauma, cerebral palsy. He was the inaugural President of the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association (APTLA) and first Chair of the Canadian Caucus member of American College of Trial Lawyers. He has lectured extensively at legal conferences. He is the recipient of the Nova Scotia Barristers Society's 2023 Disinguished Service Award.
