Raymond Gouge has been practising law since 1979, with a special focus on workers’ compensation and occupational health and safety. He acts in cases of workplace injury prevention and compensation and has extensive expertise in CNESST plan classification, financing, and assessment rates. He has served on Quebec Employers’ Council committees studying new financing regulations such as those pertaining to the use of employer experience; personalized rates; retrospective plan adjustments; and employer classification, the statement of wages, and assessment rates. He currently chairs the board of directors of Caisse populaire Desjardins de Charlesbourg, and also serves on the Council of Representatives-Quebec-Est of Fédération des Caisses Desjardins du Québec. Lecturing, conferences, publications: various training sessions for CLP (Commission des lésions professionnelles) conciliators; articles on workplace health and safety financing in various employer magazines; collaboration on the book Traité de droit re workplace health and safety.
