Robert B. Bell is a senior partner at Lerners LLP. He has appeared in trial and appellate courts across Canada and the Supreme Court of Canada. His specialty areas include major commercial disputes; specialty insurance coverage litigation; class proceedings; product liability, including design and manufacturing issues in aviation/aerospace, automotive and consumer products industries. Rob Bell is acknowledged for his expertise in aviation and product liability law as evidenced by his continued inclusion in several notable peer- and client-rated legal directories and rankings—Lexology, Chambers Canada, Best Lawyers, The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory. Mr. Bell has created and led numerous advocacy programs for The Advocates’ Society, LSO, and Osgoode Professional Development and is frequently invited to participate at conferences as keynote speaker. He received the 2014 Advocates’ Society Excellence in Teaching Award for outstanding contribution to the profession.
