Sébastien C. Caron , AdE, ICD.D

Mr. Caron is the Chairman of the Board of LCM Attorneys Inc. and one of its founding partners. He focuses his practice on litigation, commercial and security law and arbitration. He is involved in several significant class actions and has extensive experience in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution and regularly acts on behalf of large issuers and financial institutions, including securities brokers and advisors, whom he counsels on the drafting and implementing of compliance policies and represents before civil and regulatory tribunals. Mr. Caron was awarded the Quebec bar’s honorary title of Advocatus Emeritus. His expertise is recognized by Chambers, Benchmark Canada, Best Lawyers of Canada and Lexpert directories. He is involved in the community, often invited to speak, teach, and participates in several philanthropic activities. He is Chair of the Quebec Advisory Committee of The Advocates’ Society and the First Vice-President of the Board of the Foundation of the Palliative Home-Care Society of Greater Montreal. He also served on the Board of the International Bureau of Children’s Rights and of Lawyers Without Borders. He is a former Chair of the Canadian Bar Association, Quebec Branch Class Actions Section.
