Sheila is a civil litigation partner in the McKercher LLP Saskatoon office, practising exclusively in Health and Insurance Law. Primarily defending allegations of professional negligence, she has significant experience handling claims related to personal injury, property damage, and professional licensing and discipline. She has appeared before all Courts in Saskatchewan, as well as various administrative tribunals. Sheila is currently a Member-At-Large of the CBA National Health Law Section. She has been listed as a Leading Practitioner in The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and recognized by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in Canada 2024 for Health Care Law and Medical Negligence in Saskatoon. She was called to the Bar in 1997 and appointed King’s Counsel in 2019.
