Simon Gagné is Lavery's leader of the Labour and Employment Group. He is a partner who divides his practice between labour and health law. In particular, he handles cases involving grievance arbitration, labour standards, employment law, the interpretation of collective agreements, human rights and freedoms, as well as the negotiation of agreements. In the field of health law, Mr. Gagné practises primarily in the area of administrative law as it applies to the health and social services sector. He has developed significant expertise in the handling of complaints and disciplinary law, the management of physician privileges, access to information and confidentiality, internal regulations, agreements between establishments, and calls for tenders. Mr. Gagné is particularly interested in the legal aspects of the internal management of establishments and their administrators, offering a full range of services to his institutional and corporate clients.
