Stacey J. Handley

Stacey Handley is a partner at the Vancouver office of Gowling WLG and has been practising in the area of commercial real estate law for over 25 years. She advises clients on a range of matters, including major sales and acquisitions, and the leasing, development, subdivision, and financing of commercial properties. A significant part of her practice involves leasing commercial retail and office properties where she acts on behalf of both landlords and major tenants. Stacey also possesses considerable experience in the development and financing of gaming, entertainment and resort properties. She serves a diverse clientele, providing strategic legal advice to real estate developers, commercial landlords and tenants, financial institutions and borrowers. Frequently sought for her knowledge on commercial leasing issues, Stacey speaks regularly across Canada at conferences on legal issues facing landlords and tenants.
