Sunil A. Joneja

Sunil Joneja is a partner in the Banking & Specialty Finance Group at Cassels. Sunil represents and advises borrowers / issuers, banks, and other financial institutions on a wide variety of transactions with an emphasis on domestic and cross-border syndicated and bilateral debt financings (both secured and unsecured), including asset-based lending, automotive / dealership finance, project finance including renewable energy, construction and real estate finance, acquisition finance, trade finance, derivatives, note offerings, distressed lending and debt restructuring transactions. He is recognized as a leader in his field in The Best Lawyers in Canada. He is called to the bar in Alberta and British Columbia, and was previously a solicitor in England & Wales.
