Sylvia Adriano

Sylvia Adriano is a partner and head of the Real Estate and Financial Services Group in Gowling WLG's Toronto office. She has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial real estate law. Her practice focuses on the acquisition, disposition and development of commercial, retail, industrial and stratified real property. Sylvia acts on behalf of small and multinational corporations, property and asset managers, large and well-known developers, hotel owners and foreign investors. She works with clients across a wide range of industries and has particular experience in the development of retail facilities and big box shopping centres. Clients also turn to Sylvia to resolve complex title and unique property issues and to assist with the development and operation of land, through the negotiation of a wide variety of property related agreements, such as easements, restrictive covenants, cost-sharing, reciprocal operating and development agreements and co-ownership and joint venture arrangements.
