Ted Thiessen

Ted Thiessen is a tax lawyer, practising in McMillan’s Calgary and Vancouver offices. He regularly advises Canadian-based multi-national groups and both domestic and foreign private equity investors with respect to the tax aspects of corporate mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations, and financing transactions. His practice focuses on transactions involving the resource sector, where he represents a number of clients with upstream and midstream related assets and investments, and the technology and entertainment sectors, where he regularly helps foreign clients structure their Canadian operations and employment arrangements.
