Terry Kyle Lapierre

Terry Kyle Lapierre (he/him) is a partner in the Labour, Employment and Human Rights practice group in our Quebec City office. Terry Kyle – or TK to those who know him – is known within the field for his top-level professional excellence and his pride in providing clients with strategic legal advice based on a holistic approach that leaves no stone unturned. TK advises clients across Canada and abroad in connection with all matters of labour and employment law in Quebec. and does so with flawless proficiency in both English and French, whether spoken or written. TK has a unique “hybrid” practice which focuses on both private and public sector M&A as well as employer-side litigation. TK works closely with the deal team to advise buyers and sellers on all issues related to labour, employment, pensions and benefits that arise in the context of large-scale commercial transactions (including share deals, asset deals, amalgamations, corporate reorganizations and financing). TK has a particular strength for contract negotiation and drafting, and he regularly advises clients on executive employment agreements, executive compensation and termination of executive employment.
